Erosion Control:
Slope stabilizing is best achieved with native plantings. As rain falls on your water shed the plants and tree roots absorb rain and hold the earth together while the foliage brakes and slows the erosion process.
Various types of netting and BMP's can be used to hold soils in place as the planting becomes established, such as:
native plantings,
native plugs and seeding
netting, wattles, log rolls and silt fencing.
Note: If erosion is sever, a hydrologist may be required to engineers the best management practice.
